Experiencing knee pain. How do you deal with your pain?

Hi I'm kris pretty new to this I have cp and was looking for some help regarding knee pain and what I could do. Been to the doctor so many times getting to the point pain killers are not working I know they are not too good for you anyway be nice to hear if anyone else goes through the pain and what they do about it (I would not wish pain on anyone its horrible) anyway any fellow people that go through it.     My youngest boys have CP &elder one has knee pain.he was going to physio awhile but physio told him to go back to GP and ask to be referred to a specialist neurology physio.

    I can completely relate to the knee pain issue! Painkillers don't work well for me either. I use ice packs and lots of hot baths in an effort to ease the pain.

    Hi Kris, I read a lot of books, watch films and rest with my legs up most of the time. If I am in distress I go to bed with my legs up on two pillows because sometimes that is the only way I can cope. Music can help, relaxation, kindness to the self. I have chronic pain in both knees. Limit physical activity to only what is necessary
