Anyone know if you can get a bus pass with having fibermergila please any advise I would be great full thank you

Unless there’s a local scheme near you which has different criteria... then, no.

It depends on the scheme, but more importantly, it depends on how your conditions effects your ability to access transport and whether you have supporting evidence.

I don’t think that’s true. The National Concessionary Travel Pass Scheme has local variations, like in Manchester, but nothing in the NCTPS asks about whether you can access transport.

Each scheme has variations and slight differences in eligibility e.g. If you are unable to drive, have a long term injury or disability with a long term substantial effect on your ability to walk, partially sighted or registered blind, etc. Eligibility is not dependent on receipt of PIP/DLA; other evidence can be used, including a letter from your doctor.

If you are claiming pip and you score 10 points or more with mobility you can apply for a bus pass

@Toffee, a family member of mine is not in receipt, at the moment, of an benefits but has been assessed by there local council for a blue badge/bus pass.
Id contact your local council and just ask

I had my bus pass and blue badge before I claimed PIP - the council assessed me.
