i rang the Dwp and a decision was made today on my case. But the person I spoke to would not tell me the outcome. She said a letter had been sent out and I had to wait. is this usually the case that they won't tell you over the phone?

@SkyMary7 I hope you're not waiting too long for the letter! I imagine it is nerve-racking to wait- fingers crossed!

When I rang to enquire about my decision the staff member told me over the phone what the award was and how long it was for before the letter arrived. I think it depends on who's on the other end of the phone or they have changed the rules.

the lady said that the decision was made this morning and a letter had been sent out. But she could not see the decision on her computer as it takes 24hrs to update. So maybe that was it.0
