Hi @clarabelle is this your main problem with using your computer/laptop at home? If so would an external touch pad be a possible solution for you?
While not particularly recommending this product you can see some at https://www.amazon.co.uk/Wireless-Keyboard-Touchpad-Portable-Rechargeable/dp/B07216TX8J/ref=sr_1_17?ie=UTF8&qid=1532850437&sr=8-17&keywords=usb+touchpad
Even if you don't use the keyboard feature, it could be a cheaper option. If you have windows 10 have you checked the inbuilt voice recognition software?
Alternatively you may want to look for a grant so you can buy what you are used to working with or a cheaper version of Dragon. If you are interested in this option please check out https://www.scope.org.uk/support/disabled-people/search-grants

Hi @clarabelle,
We have lots of information about assistive technology and software on our website, which you may find useful.
Hope this helps, but do let us know if you have any further questions!0 -
Hi @clarabelle
Many sites can be stepped through by using the TAB key which will move you through to the item that you want on a page. Although the reliability of that option is dependent upon how accessibility has been designed in to the the site.
Some sites are really easy to TAB through others less so.
As @Geoark said there are options in Windows for voice control or you could consider mouse replacements like the track pad or a trackball.
If you can tell me the version of Windows that you are using that will help with some more ideas.
Andy
