Does ESA and PIP mean I would be moved to UC

Hi if I’m on esa (support group) and apply for pip does this trigger me getting moved over to UC, I assumed it wouldn’t but a lady at job centre said iif I applied for pip I would have to go on UC PLEASE any advice would help

    I know a member of our team or community may be touch to answer.

    Have you had a look at our benefit advice lots of information . Hope that helps.

    Have you spoken to CAB or welfare rights might be able to advise as well..

    Simple answer is no. PIP isn't part of UC and would not prompt a move across.
