Hi just wondering if anyone who has mental health issues bpd and eupd had dla for life low rate mobility and middle rate care but when switching over to pip was turned down? I no longer have a mental health worker as there wasn't anything they could do as I was co operating. Wouldn't do things they wanted

From what I have read on here invisible MH issues are not given due respect for their impact on living by the PIP system. I also believe that some are considered as "cured" when the person suffering is on appropriate medication. It seems difficult to find out exactly what weighting MH conditions are given during the assessment process.

I had mine bc of mood swings having to be pushed to do such things like washing eating dressing going out and taking medication. I often get into arguments bc of misunderstanding and I will not go anywhere alone. And don't cope with sudden change
