How to get an education plan in place?

Hi I have a son who is seventeen and has only just been diagnosed learning disabled. He also has recently been diagnosed with epilepsy. We have applied to the local council for help in putting together a plan for him but have been rejected. He applied for college but no suitable course could be found without an education plan in place we are now stuck not knowing how to move forward any advice would lead be more than appreciated thank you

Hi @ameads66, you are able to appeal the decision made my the Local council. Here is information from the government website. Also, you may find this tool helpful as it explains what to write
