which is the best way to ask for an appeal, have never done one before. any idea would be very much appreciated. thank you.

Hi,By appeal do you mean Mandatory reconsideration or Tribunal. MR you need to put the request in writing stating what you disagree with and where you think you should have scored those points and why. Tribunal you need to fill out the SSCS1 form and send your MR decision letter with it to HMCTS.
