Hi @jackie1060
Unfortunately the alternative is for you to arrange it and pay for it yourself. If finances are tight you could try applying for charitable funds https://www.scope.org.uk/support/disabled-people/search-grants but that is likely to lead to delays also. By far the quickest/easiest option if you have the resources is to buy the items you need online and get a local handyperson to fit them. Info about the items available can be found at: https://asksara.dlf.org.uk/
Even if you sort this out yourself don't cancel the Community OT visit they might have other useful suggestions when they are eventually able to come to you.

Hi @jackie1060, have you tried looking on eBay to see if anything suits what you need? They have a vast selection of seats, stools, folding seats etcetera. Is it essential that yours has to be a wall-mounted one? I have a 4-legged height adjustable seat with armrests, plus a wall mounted grab rail. Admittedly these were supplied by social services but they're not really expensive to buy. It's just a suggestion but there really is no point in waiting 8 months if your issues can be fixed by this weekend. Check it out here https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1311.R1.TR11.TRC1.A0.H2.Xshower+seat.TRS0&_nkw=shower+seat&_sacat=0
Best Wishes.
Best wishes.
