Can I claim pip if I have small vessel disease and ipf

    Hi @Clare38, and a warm welcome to the community!

    PIP is awarded based on how your conditions affect your life, rather than the conditions themselves. A good starting point might be to have a look at this online eligibility test, to give you an idea of whether you're entitled. Have a look, and do feel free to come back to us with any questions!

    The PIP self test is just a guide and nothing more. You really do need to have some understanding of what the PIP descriptors mean to be able to complete this test accurately because it's very easy to assume you should score certain points for a descriptor but unless you understand them then very often people will think they should score those points when it may not be possible.

    This guide will help you have some understanding of what all the descriptors mean.

    32 points I should have as I am not going to get any better I can't be fixed with medication all that will do is slow it down

    As i said, that test is purely a guide and it doesn't mean you'll score those points. Have a read of the link i posted to give yourself a little more understanding of what it's all about.
