Hi everyone this is my first post. I went to tribunal on 7th November over my son's DLA benefit and won, they have said it will be backdated to April which is the best news ever, I just don't know when it will actuator be paid to me, has anyone had similar experience recently?

My daughter won her tribunal for PIP in November and phoned the DWP 1 week later they have said it will take approx 8 weeks for the back payment to be put into her account and 6 weeks for her PIP award to be put in place. I also have read on other posts that it can depend on what area you live in. Well done on winning your appeal.1

Hi @joolymac77, and a warm welcome to the community. Congratulations on winning your appeal!
From what others have said, it can take between 2-8 weeks for a tribunal decision to be put into payment, however this can vary in different locations. Fingers crossed things move forwards for you soon!0 -
I won my appeal on 14th Nov. The DWP recieved the decision on the 15th. My claim is being backdated to January 2018. I was just speaking to them on the phone and they are 2 weeks behind on decisions so it will take 6-8 weeks to put in place. I'm in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.0
