Hi
How long before you know if you have been awarded PIP.
A friend has received a letter saying that they have all the information they need and will be in touch.
Just wondering how long before he will hear.
Thank you
Sarah

The letter you received is just that, you can wait up to 8 weeks for a decision, if you have not done so already phone DWP and request a copy of you acessment report it takes about 14 days to arrive once requested. Once you have it you can see work out what your award may, might be working through the descriptors and adding up the points awarded. But you still have to wait for the official award notification letter. The decision makers mostly go with the report recommendations.0
