Fibromyalgia- Given Up

afternoon Lovelies.
I am 33 and 6 or so years ago I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. At the time I remember being so happy that finally I had a name for the pain. I applied for DLA and ESA and was accepted for both. Although I suffered pain daily and knew very little about it I felt supported.
Fast forward 3 years and that support slowly ceased to exist. I lost DLA and was refused for PIP I doubted myself and got a full time job.
Another fast forward to Oct this year. I left my job from the pain. I now have no support doctors just ask what they are expected to do to help. No consultant, no physio. I feel like a lost cause. Is it just me whose been left to deal with daily pain that’s getting worse? I’ve never had any tests other tha a blood test abc I just feel like giving up and going ha k to world if it hurts.... well tough!!

Im sorry to hear you are having such a tough time, you sounds really low and it must be very overwhelming.
If you are having feelings of self harm or suicide, it's important to speak to people who are experienced enough to help, you can speak to the Samaritans on 116 123 or email them on [email protected]
We have lots of members who are dealing with fibromyalgia and chronic pain who understand just how tough it can be. Do join in on the community and chat with our members and I hope we can help.
