So, his PIP stopped in 2017 and since then he has reapplied and had an assessment in October 2018? Is he still waiting for a decision?

Hi,

It will really help if you could be a little more specific with what you're asking as it's not clearly by any of your comments.

Has your friend recently re-applied and been refused again?

caroletierney80

Yes sorry my friend applied in October again an got refused

poppy123456

Pointless to constantly reapply because using the same evidence they previously used, they'll most likely continue to be refused.

Mandatory reconsideration the Tribunal if that fails is their best answer. Face to face advice is needed from either welfare rights or a law centre near them.

OK thanks he just been told he has a cyst on his spine which effects his walking an also has arthritis in his arm

A diagnosis, will not help a PIP claim claim. It's about how your conditions affect your ability to carry out daily activities based on the PIP descriptors.
