Hi I need some help and advice please my friend has MS and is alone. She lost her husband a year ago and is severely depressed and suicidal at times. She is wheelchair bound most of the time. She lives in wales I live in Wiltshire so cannot see her as often as I liked to. What I’d like to know is what charity organisations can I contact to try and get her some help even if it’s just someone to talk to. Any advice would be appreciated and thank you in anticipation

Hello @suz64 Pleased to meet you welcome.
Thank you for joining and sharing about your friend.
Sorry to hear about how difficult your friend is dealing with her condition.
I am one of the team of community champions on the forum. Who guides and offers advice, information to new members.
There is a MS society. https://wwwmssociety.org.uk.
Helpline 0808 800 8000
Monday to Friday.9am- 7pm.
helpline @mssociety.org.uk
Hope that helps. If you or your friend gets in touch to see what they can offer in form of support.
Also have a look under Talk about Specific conditions. Lots of members with similar conditions, sharing stories.
We are a friendly, community. Supportive, care and share.
Please ask if we can advise on anything. Some one in our community will know or a member of our team.
Please take care.
