Hi my name is Karen. I have been awarded higher rate of PIP. They received my completed form 18th July. I was awarded 13 December. Should I receive back payment?

If you're transferring from DLA there's no back dated money, same if it's a review. If it's a new claim or change of circumstances then it's backdated to the date you rang to start your claim.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

It was a review. Started on PIP 3 years ago. So no backdated money?
