Can I apply for ESA?

Hi I receive PIP (enhanced) and I wonder if I can apply for ESA?  I have recently had to give up work as my symptoms are getting worse  I don't want to apply for ESA if it will affect my PIP.  Thank you

PIP is not a means-tested which means this will not affect your ESA if you were to claim

Thank you.  I guess I'm just concerned that if I apply for ESA they will stop my PIP which was a nightmare to get.
