First timer need Pip tribunal help

Hi everyone,
ive been looking for help online but realise this is the best place for help.
I received my MR on Christmas Eve and applied to the tribunal straightaway. The tribunal said they would try and get a response by the 31st January.
Got an email today from the tribunal saying the DWP haven't been in contact with them and sent no pack.
However we received the appeal pack with all the reasons and added information we sent a fortnight ago.
is it a common occurrence that we get the pack and the tribunal doesn't?

Welcome to the community.
I am not sure myself but hopefully one of our members may be able to answer your question soon.
This sounds completely normal - the DWP do take longer. Remember that they are preparing a bundle (submission) about your case, containing all the relevant documents and an argument about what they think the judge should decide. So that is going to take them a while.
You should get a copy of the bundle when it is sent out. To be honest this length of delay doesn't seem unusual, I'm afraid.

We have some information about appealing a DWP decision here along with a few videos that might help?
