Hi @Arthur24
We are here to support one another. We have a category called Ask a Mental Health Advisor which might also be helpful.

Good morning @Arthur24, welcome to the community and thank you for taking the time to share this with us. How are you feeling today?

Good morning, quite rubbish really. Im now on my THIRD MONTH of waiting for my so called CPN to send me another appointment. I should see her every 4 wks. Im pretty angry and feel let down with her cos it's NOT MY PLACE to chase them up0
-
Hope you're ok? Did you manage to get hold of your CPN? Can't believe they aren't automatically making your regular appointments

I went to see my gp today and made a complaint about my so called cpn. I got aa appointment after 3 MONTHS IN THE BLOODY WILDERNESS. My gp has made a new referral for me TO the same place the pratt works at cos that's where they are all based. Ive flat out refused to see the CPN who basically abandoned me0
-
I put my gp in her place too cos she was saying i SHOULD be ringing up for an appointment!! I said absolutely not IT'S NOT MY PLACE to do that. Thing is though I'll be waiting God knows how long now for an appointment. I'm thinking though how I'm going to react IF i bump into that OLD USELESS CPN of mine? As you can see I'm pretty angry

Hi @Arthur24, how are you doing today? I can empathise with your anger around this, it must be very frustrating to not be getting the support you need. When is the appointment you got from your GP? I hope it will be easier from now on and that regular appointments will be made.

Hello Chloe i saw my gp yesterday. So it's just a matter of waiting now. As you may be aware this week is Mental health Awareness Week?Well, in town we have a unit with various agencies? NOT ONE CPN IS AVAILABLE THERE TO TALK TO!!!( and they HAVE been invited0
-
But, i thought that would have been a foregone conclusion?0
-
Hi @Arthur24, thank you for clarifying, I understand now. It's a shame a CPN couldn't have been at this event. Was it useful at all to receive information?
0 -
Not really. I spoke to someone from Coop Funeral Care!!0
-
I imagine that wasn't very helpful at all! We currently have a board on ways to relax which you may find interesting.0
-
Ooo, please tell. Im in my drs at the moment waiting to see a nurse for various results0
-
I really hope the appointment goes okay @Arthur24! If you click on the link above it should take you to the discussion.

Hello Chloe, the gp was ****!!! Ive been re-referred BACK to the place from where I was left in the wilderness for 3 months. Unfortunately its the only place in town to see someone. Ive flatly refused to see my previous cpn.whats concerning me though is how I'll react IF i see her cos, the way I'm feeling at the moment i won't be pleasant if I DO see her0
-
I'm so sorry your GP hasn't been as helpful as you had liked- that must be so frustrating! I hope the re-referral prompts some positive outcome for you!0
