Hi, I won my appeal for ESA on Wednesday. I have been placed in the Support Group. Whilst I've been appealing I haven't been receiving my Disasbility Premium. Will this now be reinstated and will it be backdated. Thank you

Hi,Great news. The Enhanced disability premium is automatically paid when claiming ESA Income Related in the Support Group. It will be backdated to the date you were found fit for work. Backdated money can take 8 weeks and you'll need to continue to send in the sick notes until DWP contact you.1
