Hi all I have a rare condition & I've claimed for pip. My husband works full time as I did before I got really bad. My question is can I claim for esa ?  My hubby is on a good wage & we have no children x

    Hi,

    That will depend on your NI contributions from April 2016 to March 2018. If you've paid enough then you will be able to claim New style ESA but you will need fit/sick notes from your GP.


    I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
