Seeing a psychiatrist to start treatment for the first time for bipolar- anyone else?

Hello, my name is Claire. Nice to meet you. I am seeing a psychiatrist to start treatment for the first time for bipolar. Does anyone here have an experience they can share from when they first began meds for bipolar?
