I am awaiting my decision letter after my first PIP assessment last week. I have my report from the assessor who scored me 10 on daily and 10 on mobilty and I know the final outcome is up to the decision maker but my question is if I am not happy with the decision letter and apply for a MR will I still receive the benefit awarded by the decision maker while going through the MR process? Also if the MR still remains the same and I have to go to tribunal will I still receive the original pip payments? Thank you

Hello!
When I was looking for a MR letter writing tool I found this website (it has been very helpful) https://www.advicenow.org.uk/pip-tool/thank-you.
I am tagging @poppy123456 as she has experience and advice.2 -

Hi,They mostly go with the report, it's rare to go against it. Yes, you'll still receive payments from an existing award when requesting the MR and Tribunal. Before you do decide to request the MR i'd advise you to speak to an advice agency near you because no one on an internet forum can tell you if there's any risks to a current award you may have by requesting the MR.
