Slow cooker not working

Everything's in it, plugged in, switched on. Nothing. Tried another socket. Still nothing. Not had it very long, about November time. No troubleshooting guide in the instructions.

Anybody had this problem with theres?

I've left it plugged in case it's just the light that's packed up.

    What brand/model is it @Franstrahan?

Hi @Franstrahan a bit old school, but have you tried replacing the fuse in the plug? Also may be worth checking the wiring inside the plug is secure, though noticed with modern electrical equipment this is not always accessible.

Beyond that it would seem to be a fault and may need to be returned if it is not just the light.

Hold everything, just checked it and it's getting warm. So looks like the light has packed up.
    It's a cookworks 1.5 compact.
But hopefully that was the only problem. Will keep an eye on it today.
    Thanks Adrian

Appears now to be the light. Its warming up, but I'm keeping an eye on it now.
    Thanks

Thanks for that. Hoping it's just the light but keeping an eye on it in case the heating control itself has gone haywire and it burns my tea!

I hope it continues to work @Franstrahan! What have you been cooking at the moment? :)

Haven't gone far beyond either chicken or sausage casseroles, sausage one in it now, but would like to go veggie now so must check out some alternative recipes asap. Was veggie years ago but had to give it up due to - iron deficiency, think it was.

I love quorn sausages in a casserole so that could work!

I like quorn but have never seen it outside of the freezer section, and dont have a freezer.
I could just do a casserole, all the veg, and put in cashew nuts for the meat substitute. They are nice in a casserole so that may work. one to try.

Have been there, not for a while now. Was it Friday mornings? Got a stone ornament of a Westie for the garden. The only thing I ever bought there.

Just read your introduction post. All sounds brilliant! Did you make the marsh boat?
