Hope all the dog owners out there are aware of this. This post is a 'just in case' some of you aren't. It's a nationwide problem, and there are full details of it - symptoms etc - on the web if you search for 'dog vomiting disease'.
They are not sure what's causing it currently, but one theory is it might be a sort of canine norovirus.
My dogs are confined to the garden at the mo.
Best Wishes to all and their dogs x

Good share @Franstrahan ,My sister in law has just lost her dog due to this, she did have an underlying condition but with the virus on top was unable to recover.

That's awful, I'm so sorry. Online I read that out of 400 and something cases only 4 had died, and they all had underlying conditions, so not the norm, Praise God,  but so sorry to hear about your sisters dog x

There are no updates that I can find on the web about this currently, so they are still checking it out. All us dog owners need to be extra vigilant and maybe if at all possible keep the dog confined to garden for a while x

I think it's for the best. Mine are in till we know more. Sounds particularly nasty, this 'bug'. More than just their normal upset stomach.

Hope everybodys dog is staying safe and well thru this now. Theres no real news I can find anyway as to it being formally identified, but the majority opinion seems to be that it's a particularly nasty form of gastroenteritis. All the symptom info is online to be googled. Also theres nothing definite as to how its spread yet, or not that I can find.
Best Wishes to All and their Dogs.
    Stay safe x
