Hi all ?
Thank you for your replies.
We live in Cumbria and the Council has closed all the day care centres.
My daughter is a young adult and can't move independently. We follow a 24 hour physical management plan to assist my daughter's walking and posture.
I do a lot at home but need the space and back up to do this 24/7.
I have had extensive surgery and chemo so I without I have been advised to be very careful. Without a little day care, I will be working a 20 hour day. My daughter gets up during the night too.
It's alright for the government to tell us to compromise but they don't understand the complex nature of my daughter's care.
Hope you are all well ?0 -
I don’t use one myself but a lot of care homes are shutting up to visitor’s, and while out this afternoon I saw sign on play areas stating they are closed till further notice.0
