HI AM ON ESA BENEFIT I JUST GOT P60U AND ALL MY OTHER CERTIFICATE SAY 00.00 APART FROM THIS ONE SAY PAY  AND TAXABLE BENEFIT AND TAX CODE SAYING BR ON AND NOT SURE WHAT THIS MEANS ANYONE HELP AS  I DID PHONEE BENEFIT AND DIDNT GET ANYWHERE AT ALL

    Hi @kellans39 - Welcome to the community. As regards your query, BR is one of the tax codes & stands for 'basic rate.'
    'BR  -  All your income from this job or pension is taxed at the basic rate (usually used if you’ve got more than one job or pension)'  This quoted from the governments website: https://www.gov.uk/tax-codes

    Hi and welcome, you will have received the P60 showing nil earnings but ESA make National insurance contributions so this is why you get the P60
