Hi everyone hope your pain is playing nice today.
Strange question
I feel as though my bones are not attached to my body, its like the muscles that hurt so much dont attach to anything. It's hard to explain lol. I think it's because there is no strength in my muscles to work them correctly. I feel almost detached.. does any one else feel this and understand what I mean. It's so hard to explain. Subconsciously I know they are, as some bones feel heavy and irritated but the bits inbetween feel empty pain not like there attached. ? ?

    Hi @Bell11

    Good Morning ??

    Yes I have got no feeling all the way down me left side due to my “Stroke”so that side no longer “Exists”

    I have also got “Chronic Pain 24/7” down my right side.

    So I no longer have a a “Good Side”

    Due to all of this I no longer feel anything with my “Bones” at all.

    @steve51

    Peaks and troughs.. I always feel dis-attached. Probley sounds worse than it feels but I dont know how else to describe it.lol  I'm still getting use to this whole thing  something I normal would have done and thought nothing off it. I now do and feel it after... it's a slow learning curve

    Hi @Bell11, I hope things do become easier for you. We aren't medical experts and cannot diagnose. However, MIND have some information on dissociation which you might find helpful to read.
    Dissociation is one way the mind copes with too much stress, such as during a traumatic event.
    It is normal to experiencing change and is often just your brain trying to cope. If it continues your GP should be able to support you.

    MIND also have a page of things you can do to help you manage dissociation.

    Please let us know how you get on. :)

    Hi chloe _scope
    I have looked at the mind info. It's not really appropriate tbf. It was a very interesting read but I dont actually believe or think I'm not attached to my joints. It's just that's what they feel like. As if they have no strength because there is no muscle there.
