I suffer from Parkinson’s and recently put on loads of weight, due to the fact of the isolation. I know you can get chair weighing scales and wondered if any slimming clubs use these. I cannot stand without the help of my walking frame . Also hard to step up any steps. Can anyone please help.

HI and welcome,I've been a member of Slimming World since 2016 and have attended various groups up and down the country in this time. Unfortunately, they don't provide a chair scales. I don't know about weight watchers. You could contact a Consultant of Weight Watchers in your area and ask them this question.Although at the moment the groups to weigh are not currently open due to Covid19. They are of course still doing the online membership.Hope this helps.0

Hi @maureen05
Being accurately weighed when it's difficult to stand is tricky. My GP surgery doesn't have chair weighing scales. I would agree with @poppy123456, I would contact the clubs you are interested in joining beforehand and ask the question.2 -
@Richard_Scope thanks for that. I do know there's no Slimming world group in the country that has any chair weighing scales.
