Health update

Hi everyone hope everyone is doing well.
i haven’t been on in a while still trying to come to terms with my diagnosis of vascular disease,just came out of hospital two weeks ago after an angioplasty procedure where they pushed the blockage in my artery to one side to allow some blood back into my leg it’s helped slightly but not a great deal.
i was told they were going to place a stent but sadly they didn’t so have been extremely disappointed ☹️

I'm sorry to hear you have been in hospital and it wasn't the news you had expected. Did they say why a stent wasn't fitted?

How are you feeling today? I imagine it's a lot to take in.

Hi @dynasty30 Sorry to hear of your complications, I was in a vascular ward several times and came across lots of other patients who had the same procedure as yourself, some it worked some it didnt.

I hope you have a follow up appointment where you will be able to ask why they didnt fit a stent and what else they could do to help you
