Hi all,
this is my first post, my counsellor advised finding similar listeners to chat with. Coping with depression and anxiety. After 3rd operation on my spine, I have a spinal cord stimulator implanted and struggle to find it difficult to speak out, who likewise can benefit sharing stories

Hi @Andrew74 and welcome to our community. I'm glad you found us and I hope we can support you.
It sounds like you have been through quite a lot, having 3 operations and a spinal cord stimulator. That can't have been easy. Is the pain causing your anxiety? Are you coping okay?
Many people on the forum are also experiencing depression and anxiety so I am sure they will be along to tell you their stories and offer tips on how to manage.

Lots of people suffer with depression and anxiety especially when coming to terms with a disability
I had a short period myself coming to terms with having an amputation 3 years ago, most of the stress however came from claiming benefits, giving up work, having to find a new house, and my marriage breaking down
There was a lot to deal with all at the same time, however things started to get back on track and now I have adjusted and created a new life for me and my son
