Fibromyalgia

Hi there, new here! I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia last April 2019. Anyone else have it? Let’s share some suggestions and ideas to help each other ? I’ll go first - exercise really does help! Even if it’s just stretches for 5 minutes, it will all go a long way.

    HI,

    Yes, we have a lot of members here with fibro, myself included but i do have other conditions as well. Exercise makes me a million times worse. Heat helps my pain.

    Hello @bect93 It's nice to see you around the community!  I wondered if you'd ever tried yoga?  I don't have fibromyalgia but once tried it for a few months and really felt a benefit.

    @poppy123456 yes I find heat really helpful - I sleep with a heated blanket on.

    Here are some pain resources. I appreciate that they won't completely eliminate your pain and what you feel is real. However, there is some great information about managing pain which could be helpful.
