Hi @Sparklebright62! Welcome to the community
I'm sorry that you've been in so much pain. Are you saying you think it's rheumatoid arthritis, not osteoarthritis? Or that you thought you had osteoarthritis, and that they've now confirmed this?
Just to let you know, I've moved your post into the Chronic Pain category.0 -
Hi @Sparklebright62 Welcome to the community, sorry you are in such pain and you dont agree with the diagnosis, what makes you think it is wrong ?0

Have you seen specialist or was it a&e you went to
Phone gp and also see about your other problems
Let us know how you get on0 -
I'm sorry to hear that @Sparklebright62 It definitely sounds like this needs to get sorted as soon as possible.
Were you able to speak to the doctor yesterday morning?0 -
Yes he just prescribed gel for now to use 4 times per day.
I have lost 8.4kg since I came home from hospital
I have sent in pictures to the doctors via web.
Think they are supposed to be referring me back to rheumatology but I need to have an ultrasound first don't know how long this will take.

Is the gel helping at all @Sparklebright62?
That is a lot of weight I know you said you don't feel like eating, but could you perhaps try some liquids, like a smoothie or some soup?
Fingers crossed it won't take very long to get the ultrasound done. Could you ask anyone what they think the wait time might be?0 -
Welcome to the community @Sparklebrightisright so sorry to hear of your pain. We’re all here if you need our support.0

Hi to all,
I think the wait time will be debatable as I've still not had my heart scan so no hope of getting my shoulder scan which is very worrying I've a funny feeling this won't be sorted till next year some how its not good enough.

Let's hope it gets sorted quicker than that @Sparklebright62! I do think it's worth asking them what they think the wait time might be. How long have you been on the list for a heart scan?0

Hi to all,
