Hi everyone, I was taken to hospital on 21st for one night with a suspected stroke. Do I have to notify DWP? I had to go to court to get my pip back and dont want it stopped again. I was discharged to my friends address as she has no stairs. This is only a temporary measure until physio is sorted. Anyone any idea whether this is going to mess things up for me.

I am sorry to hear you have been in hospital, in answer to your question your PIP will not be affected it is only for hospital stays of 28 days or more
I wish you a speedy recovery1 -
Thank you. I don't want to claim extra at the moment because they would probably stop what I already get so I hope they don't ask me about whether things have become more difficult (they have)
Thank you for your kind words.0 -
They wont ask you anything until you are due to be reassessed or if you reported a change in condition0
