Irlen syndrome, also known as Scotopic Sensitivity Syndrome is as are no doubt aware about sight sensitivity. I have a PubMed "Scotopic Sensitivity Syndrome" research paper collection which you may find of some interest at

Should a person wish to look at medical papers, then I suggest they search a medical database themselves, which will also bring up those available from the last 6 years, which may be more relevant.
