I really enjoy reading the blogs. At first I only read the ones I could relate to. However now I find I get something from all of them because even the topics I cannot relate to teach me about things I have little or no experience of and help change my attitude towards those things - for example disabilities I have no experience of.
I was just wondering how people go about getting one posted up on the website. I would love to write about either mental health or driving and how learning to drive changed my life, or maybe both combined. Do I need to have a blog website or can I just send it to Scope for them to consider?
Thanks

I'm so glad you posted this question

As a team we really want to empower all our members and shout out loud about your lived experiences and knowledge. More than ever in 2021, we want to be your cheerleaders and part of this will include posting more guest blogs written by our resident community.
So, put simply - nope you don't need to have a blog website, all you need is a story to tell. If you fit this bill (which it sounds like you do @66Mustang ), then please send any ideas to community@scope.org.uk and we will be happy to help you along the way.

@MrAllen1976 yes I’ve seen your site and found it informative and entertaining to read
I also saw you had an article put up on Scope. 0 -
I think a guest blog from yourself would be great @66Mustang - & please do include how driving changed your life. You write well, & that's a great start, so just say what matters to you. As Cher says, you have a story to tell, & I look forward to hearing it. You never know who you might help, even if they don't comment, & that in itself makes it a great idea.
