I hid my depression for more than 20 years. I suffer from PTS due to a road traffic accident that changed my life forever. For me, my life was like being an actor because i did not want to let people know that i was suffering. I would be all smiles on the outside and dying on the inside. When i was in a room full of people i felt like i was the loniest person on the planet.I was told by counsillors to grab onto things that make you happy, and i do just that. Anything that makes me happy i grab hold of it. I refused help for many years but i was amazed how much speaking to a councillor helped. I then learnt to open up to my wife and i could not believe how better i felt. I find getting in the car and going to the beach helps me a lot or driving in the country side makes me happy. Sadly, i do not have any friends to interact with as after my accident i pushed them away. So, for the past twenty years my support network is my wife and my daughter. If you can find a hobby that makes you happy then it will really help.

They must be flying through it @Ibelive2020! Have you had a look online for more free educational resources to keep them occupied?
