Hi I'm not too sure there was an article on the news yesterday with an actress fighting to get this group in one of the priority groups0

Welcome to the community @whiand02
How are you doing?
Were you asking about the coronavirus vaccine?
Quite a few people have been talking about the fact that many people with learning difficulties have been largely ignored when it comes to the coronavirus vaccine priority groups.
According to the government's list of priority groups, those with a 'severe or profound learning disability' are in group 6, but there doesn't seem to be any mention of those whose learning difficulty falls beneath this threshold. Nursing Times have reported that those with a learning difficulty who don't fall into this group will be treated on an age basis.
Here are a couple of articles I found from people speaking out about the issue, but there are plenty more online:- The Guardian: Ian Rankin hits out at lack of Covid jab advice for people with learning disabilities
- BBC: Jo Whiley: 'I'd give up my Covid vaccine in a heartbeat'
- BBC: Learning disabilities: Covid vaccine wait 'frightening'
Is this something that you're personally worried about @whiand02?0 -
I actually had my first dose a fortnight yesterday ago, and contrary to popular belief I don't have a learning disability I just have Asperger's.
Due for the second dose early May I think.

I haven’t had mine done yet but I suffer with allergies as I am allergic to penicillin and I have contact dermatitis and I I don’t know if I could have the covid jab done.0
