Reapplying for ESA age 65? Can I get help with council tax and mortgage payment on pension credit?

Hello I have just turned 65 and I Have received 2 letters 
from pension credit service asking to apply 
and from Esa to confirm that it will end 

the question is 
can I re apply for ESA at aged 65
if I apply for pension credit 
will i still get help with council tax and help with mortgage interest payments

    Can I claim any other benefit if esa will stop
    because I live alone and am unwell

    To be clear - when does the ESA letter say it will end? If it on the date of your 66th birthday that is because you reach pension age and ESA cannot be paid beyond pension age.

    I am surprised Pension Credit have been in touch if you have only just turned 65. You cannot receive Pension credit until you reach pension age and would not be able to apply sooner than four months before that date.
