I'm due a new car in 2022, but my award ends in 2023. What do I do? I can't be without a car

I’m due a new car sept 2022 but my award ends august 2023. 

I know it’s a while off but what do I do? I can’t be without a car for 11 months

    You can have a car as long as you have more than 12 months left. So you might not get an extension
