Hi, I have just joined the Forum. I am a pensioner receiving lower level PIP for chronic pain and other health problems. Also recovering from my first heart attack last week. My pip assessment is tomorrow, are the Government tightening up on the qualifying criteria for continued receiving for pip.

No. Some of the criteria have been revised slightly over time (mainly as a result of tribunal decisions requiring the government to make amendments).

Welcome to the community @Posofserend :) I hope that the above link helps you to understand the current criteria a little better.

Just to make you aware, I renamed your post slightly so that other users will be able to find it more easily.

I was awarded my PIP a few months ago. I would have updated you but for a very hectic house move. Thanks again.
