Good friday is a bank holiday so it depends on a persons contract and if they are expected to work bank holidays

I never missed a BH in retail me, always volunteered for a 12 hour shift to take advantage of the extra pay.0

I was always had to work bank holidays lol and Xmas day and boxing day and new year lol first Xmas I didnt have to work I was on lock down lol0

I found that if you work in the private sector then you generally worked bank holidays
But not so much in public sector or non profit making sector
Obviously there are exceptions to this
Bank holidays are literally becoming holidays for banks0
