Moving Date/Rent Payment Period

I'm on a rolling monthly contract so have to give one month's notice to move.
I pay rent on the 1st of each month, but moved in on the 8th.
So...if I move out on the 7th, does that mean I don't have to pay rent on the 1st of that month, because the last month's payment covers it?
I've read a few things online about this but still not totally sure!
Thanks

I would imagine you would have to pay that month if it is due on 1st or at least part of it
The best way is to contact your landlord and ask
