ESA was stopped due to 12 month limit. Had my WCA recently, and now I have a payment from them?

Good evening. I was claiming esa but it was stopped in February due to me claiming it for the 12 months. However I had my work capability assessment a few weeks ago. I have woken up and had a payment of £10 from esa in my bank? Can anybody tell me why this would be? Thanks.

hi @jenni2010 and welcome to scope, i'm afraid that only the dwp could really answer that one, give them a call at 9a.m tomorrow (before they get busy)
I am a person with epilepsy not an epileptic, my illness doesn't define me.
