Hi
My universal Credit has been suspended for months .They said something in my journal about being over the limit ,nut no explanation ,ie what's the limit etc. This has been going on for months they answer questions in my journal and say they'll send letters but they never do.
I have written to them dozen of times and informed them I have Autism and am non verbal and they constantly write and say the only way to solve this if I could just call them.I have no one to call them .we are going round in circles .Is it disability discrimination for them to force me into calling .They know I can't do ,surely they can text email or write to me and ask the questions.
now finally got a decision maker saying only way forward is verbally, that must be discrimination surely FGS

They should, according to their own information, offer alternatives

Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK. -

Thank you very much calcotti, I actually feel so much better now. They might not have been against any disability laws , but they have went against the advice given on their own government website.Couldn’t make it up.Thank you

If you feel that the DWP has not been giving you a reasonable adjustment for your disability, you can write them a complaint to help get the problem resolved.
