Hi @ilovehubby1964. The pain you are getting is suggestive of trapped or irritated, inflamed nerves.
I've been experiencing similar pain which has reached excruciating levels, despite taking painkillers. I asked my GP to refer me to the Spinal clinic at the hospital where I had five previous spinal operations. I feel that the situation is urgent, yet a month later I'm still waiting for an appointment to the clinic. I am now mostly bedbound. I can't walk, stand up straight or sit up. I have very little quality of life.
I do believe that patients with spinal problems get a raw deal from the NHS. A lot of hospitals don't have any spinal specialist doctors and referrals from GPs take far too long to be responded to.
Do you feel you need a referral for your problems? It may be worth discussing it with your GP. -
Hi there and welcome
Sorry to hear about your legs have you consulted your doctor at all
Are you diabetic ?
Feel free to have a look around and join in -
Hi just saw your post, have you been to the drs and maybe seen a Consultant, there is obviously something to do with the nervous system but im no expert..
Still you can try and ask.
Also try some stretching exercises..
Look at when it happens and if anything triggers it , write it down so you can tell your dr.
Hope that helps. -
Thank you iv spoke to drs twice just to wait for it to go they said x
