Hello
QUESTIONS
What condition is most likely to cause high blood pressure with occasional drops which result in falls?
Also causes stoop posture and leaning to one side when walking?
I am very weak and need help getting dressed showering and getting up from a seated position.
I have difficulty using cutlery and have choking episodes and a constant cough.
I am unable to walk long distances and cannot go out independently. I am unstable at times and
feel very weak.
Thanks
Steve

Hello @sunset709 - & welcome to the community. I'm sorry to read about all the difficulties you have, but unfortunately we're not medical specialists, so would be unable to answer your queries relating to this. It's good you're going to see a neurologist, & I hope they find out what's going on. Kindly let us all know how your appointment goes, thank you.

Hello @sunset709
Welcome to the community, I'm sorry to hear that you are struggling at the minute but I hope that the visit to the neurologist helps put your mind at ease and answers some questions you have.
In the meantime, have you discussed your symptoms with your GP to see if they can offer some support until you see the neurologist? Do you receive any help with daily tasks and mobility?Online Community CoordinatorConcerned about another member's safety or wellbeing? Flag your concerns with us.

Thanks for replies
My wife helps me shower dress and get out of chairs . I hold onto her when I walk but I now stoop and lean when I walk short distances.
The GPS have been unhelpful and told me they not an emergency service and to chase up neurology and cardio referrals. This I did and have had cardio tests and spoken to Cardiologist who says it is a Neurological condition.I have had two appointments cancelled and now have one on 2nd July unless it is cancelled. The earliest private appointment I can get is 29th September (270 pounds) which I have booked as back up.
I am anxious but accept I will have to wait. I was hoping someone may have had similar symptoms
