Underpayments lcw- how long does it take to get the backdated payment?

Hi new to group hi all 
Recieved a we owe you money letter on my journal 
It is a backdated lcw saying they will pay me 1230 
How long dies it take because it's not in my account but my journal payments have be updated 
Thanks people and advice would be great

Hi there Welcome to the community 

It may need authorising and will also take 3-5 days to clear in your bank 

I would leave it a week then query
