I’d recommend popping in and asking to speak to the store manager or duty manager.

Just thought I'd share this with you.  I have recently started volunteering at my local Scope Shop and am really enjoying meeting all the  different people.  I thought I would find the till a bit tricky and it was to start with but it didn't take long to get the hang of it and my Manager is absolutely brilliant and super  helpful if I have a brain freeze and can't remember which button to press.   :).  The customers are all very understanding and patient too.  I am so glad I plucked up the courage to walk in and see them.  I am currently out of work and have been since February but this little bit of Volunteering has really helped me it has added a string to my bow and something else for the CV.   I am considering looking for permanent shop work now.

    Yeah, that's cool...
I stay quite far from town though, usually it takes me 40-60 minutes on foot to get there, so i'd definitely be doing afternoon shifts... :D
