I am looking for the form to apply for an EHCP. My son is homeschooling and I will be applying as a parent, can anyone direct me where to find this, please?

Hi @Kerrie_leigh and a warm welcome from me.
To apply for an EHCP you need to make a request to your local authority (LA). This webpage from the Independent Provider of Special Education Advice (IPSEA) has a model letter you can use and details on how to find the appropriate person (Director of Children's Services at your LA) to send it onwards to. As an aside, you might find it handy to book a free 45 minutes appointment with someone at IPSEA to discuss how best to go about this.
Scope also have an Applying for an EHCP webpage that has more information about the EHCP process which might be handy
Good luck and please let us know how you get on. I've moved this thread to our Education and learning category and tweaked the title to help others spot it and offer their wisdom too!Online Community Co-ordinator
